Christmas Piñata Decoration for Kids

Why is a monthly litter pick up important?

Litter is a major problem in San Jose. In 2022, over 100,000 tons of litter were collected from city streets and sidewalks.
Litter can have a negative impact on the environment. It can pollute waterways, harm wildlife, and make our city less attractive.
Litter can also have a negative impact on our economy. Businesses in areas with high levels of litter can experience a decrease in sales and property values.

Our board meets monthly to discuss the most important issues facing our community and how to improve the lives of our members.
